Calculate available resources
The response reports aggregate resource usage through limit and used fields. It does not directly return available amounts or separate self-staked resources from delegated resources. Calculate the available amounts on the client:
| Resource | Formula |
|---|---|
| Remaining free Bandwidth | max(0, freeNetLimit - freeNetUsed) |
| Remaining staked or delegated Bandwidth | max(0, NetLimit - NetUsed) |
| Remaining Energy | max(0, EnergyLimit - EnergyUsed) |
| Remaining allocatable TRON Power (TP) | max(0, tronPowerLimit - tronPowerUsed) |
Protocol Buffers fields whose value is 0 may be omitted from the JSON response. Treat an omitted numeric field as 0 before applying these formulas. To distinguish sources, inspect the staking fields returned by wallet/getaccount. Query Stake 2.0 delegations through wallet/getdelegatedresourcev2 and wallet/getdelegatedresourceaccountindexv2, and legacy Stake 1.0 delegations through wallet/getdelegatedresource and wallet/getdelegatedresourceaccountindex.
